MONITORING OF TANK EXCAVATION IS RECOMMENDED AND TEMPORARY SHORING
IS IMPLEMENTED UPON OBSERVATION OF UNSTABLE SLOPES.
5. REMOVE EXISTING CHANNELIZATION MARKERS (TYPICAL) AND DISPOSE OFFSITE.
6. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE RELOCATION AND PROTECTION OF EXISTING BEAR

SEDIMENT CONTROL NOTE:
CONTRACTOR TO SLOPE SITE AND MAINTAIN SEDIMENT CONTROL BMP'S TO ENSURE
THAT THE SITE CONTAINS ALL SURFACE STORM WATER RUNOFF AND SEDIMENT. THE
PROPERTY SHALL BE BOUND BY SILT FENCE AS NECESSARY. ADDITIONAL TESC
CONTROL MAY BE REQUIRED. WHAT HAS BEEN DEPICTED ON THESE PLANS IS ONLY
THE MINIMUM REQUIRED TO CONTAIN SILT LADEN STORM WATER. CONTRACTOR MAY BE
REQUIRED TO MODIFY OR IMPLEMENT ADDITIONAL TESC CONTROLS THROUGHOUT
CONSTRUCTION.

DEMOLITION PERMIT:
A DEMOLITION PERMIT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF
ECOLOGY SHALL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT.
EROSION CONTROL NOTES:
1. ALL NECESSARY EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS SHALL BE AVAILABLE ON SITE TO
FACILITATE RAPID INSTALLATION OF EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL BMPS
WHEN RAIN IS IMMINENT.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RESTORE ALL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES TO
WORKING ORDER TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE AUTHORITY HAVING
JURISDICTION AFTER EACH RUN-OFF PRODUCING RAINFALL.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL ADDITIONAL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION DUE TO
UNCOMPLETED GRADING OPERATIONS OR UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH
MAY ARISE.
4. ADEQUATE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL AND PERIMETER PROTECTION
BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICE MEASURES MUST BE INSTALLED AND
MAINTAINED.
5. CONTRACTOR TO IMPLEMENT SLOPE STABILIZATION MEASURES AS NECESSARY
FOR EXPOSED SLOPES DURING CONSTRUCTION.
DEMOLITION NOTES:
1. ALL PAVEMENTS, SLABS, GROUND COVER, UTILITIES, ETC., INSIDE LIMITS OF
DISTURBANCE SHALL BE REMOVED UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN ON THE
PLANS.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT AND COORDINATE WITH THE VARIOUS UTILITY
COMPANIES ON REQUESTING DISCONNECTIONS, REMOVALS AND/OR
RELOCATION OF EXISTING SERVICE AS NECESSARY.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL ASSURE THAT ALL NECESSARY PERMITS AND
CONSTRUCTION APPROVALS HAVE BEEN OBTAINED PRIOR TO COMMENCING
WORK.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL REPLACE ALL EXISTING CURB, PAVEMENT AND/OR
LANDSCAPING DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY.
5. CONTRACTOR SHALL, PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OR REMOVAL OF
IMPROVEMENTS, FIELD VERIFY AND CONFIRM LIMITS OF DEMOLITION AS WELL
AS EXISTING UTILITIES AND IMPROVEMENTS TO REMAIN.
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE:
1. BEFORE ANY CONSTRUCTION OR DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY, A
PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING MUST BE HELD BETWEEN THE APPLICANT,
APPLICANT'S CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE, AND THE CITY OF RENTON.
2. POTHOLE / UTILITY LOCATES.
3. FLAG CLEARING LIMITS.
4. INSTALL DESIGNATED CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE AS NEEDED.
5. INSTALL FILTER FABRIC FENCE AS INDICATED ON PLAN.
6. INSTALL ONSITE/OFFSITE CATCH BASIN PROTECTION.
' 7. POTHOLE EX. UTILITIES FOR VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL LOCATIONS
' 8. CLEAR AND GRUB AREAS OF THE SITE TO BE ROUGH GRADED OR FILLED.
9. CLEAN STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM, ON AND OFF -SITE, OF ALL SEDIMENT AND
DEBRIS AFTER CONSTRUCTION.
10. REMOVE TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES WHEN SITE IS
COMPLETELY STABILIZED.
DEEP EXCAVATION NOTE:
TANK EXCAVATIONS SHALL BE PER OSHA REQUIREMENTS. TANK EXCAVATIONS
THAT REQUIRE SHORING SHALL BE ENGINEERED AND PERMITTED SEPARATELY
AND SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLING CONTRACTOR.
