PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CAG-16-140
THIS AMENDMENT, dated , is by and between the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington
municipal corporation, and DGK Inc. (“Consultant”), 1902 120th Place SE, Suite 202, Everett, WA
98208. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the
“Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date
signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-16-140, dated
September 14, 2016, to provide necessary services for the Environmental Professional Services
(referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work, change the
time for performance, and change the compensation in order to provide the ongoing
environmental support during construction to include compliance inspections, reviews and
recommendations.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-16-140 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit
A-4, which is attached and incorporated herein.
2.Time of Performance: Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended pursuant to the
schedule(s) set forth in Exhibit A-4. All Work shall be performed by no later than
December 31, 2023.
3. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $49,198.80 from $16,713.60 to
$65,912.40, including any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional
compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s)
or amounts specified in Exhibit B-4, which is attached and incorporated herein.
4.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date

Project: Duvall Ave NE, NE 7
th St. to Sunset Blvd.
PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
The City is currently undertaking the reconstruction of Duvall Avenue NE from NE 10
th
Street to Sunset Boulevard. This project will include full depth reclamation and overlay.
This work will also include fill in of missing non-motorized facilities such as sidewalks
and bicycle lanes, illumination, channelization, and stormwater improvements. The
project limits/scope extended from NE 10th to Sunset to from NE 7th to Sunset.
This scope of work provides for the ongoing environmental compliance reviews of the
project during construction. The work will be performed in accordance with the WSDOT
LAG manual. The following tasks identify the work needed:
TASKS:
1. Obtain a NPDES permit and provide continued PE support through design
2. Provide Weekly inspections and assistance in NPDES oversight with the CM
team to assure contractor compliance with the NPDES permit.
3. Provide CESCL inspection services as needed for all utility work on the project
that is not covered by the contractor.
4. Respond g environmental issues and commitments.
5. Update environmental documentation as needed to address construction issues.
6. Make recommendations for environmental compliance.
