Thank you for speaking with me last week and patience due to the cyber incident.
The material change for the detention tank is approved subject to the condition that the tanks cannot contain galvanized materials. Appurtenance parts, fasteners, etc. may contain a
limited amount of galvanization in accordance to 2017 RSWDM requirements.
If the material change requires any modifications to access ports, ladders, tank size, piping elevations, bedding requirements, etc. please coordinate with your inspector and myself
to determine if the change warrants a minor or major design change. Also, please ensure to track the material change on the final as-builts.
