HomeMy WebLinkAboutCM_Construction Mitigation_200824 CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION August 20, 2020 Planning Division City of Renton 1055 South Grady Way Renton, WA 98057 Project Name: 701 Monster Road SW Building - Interior Improvement Proposed Construction Dates: Tenant Improvements, starting in September 2020, completion by November 2020 unless SEPA approval pushes the dates out. Hours and Days of Operation: Construction hours would traditionally be weekdays from 6am to 6pm. It may be possible some work may be performed on weekends (Saturdays) to expedite the schedule. Measures to be Implemented to Minimize Dust, Traffic impacts, Erosion, Mud, Noise: TESC measures and watering of the site will be implemented to maintain a clean working site, as required during Civil Work. Any work requiring impacts to traffic will utilize flaggers and approved traffic control means. The proposed measures to reduce or control the noise impacts will be to limit the hours of operation during the construction phase of the project. The site is located in an Industrial area and in no proximity to a residential neighborhood. Existing adjacent freeway traffic and facility operations create significantly more noise than this site will produce. Any Special Hours proposed for Construction or hauling: It may be possible some work may be performed on weekends to take advantage of favorable weather conditions. Preliminary Traffic Plan: For Civil work, this effort will be defined by the general contractor (TSL) and coordinated with the City of Renton. No anticipated impact to traffic is expected due to the limited size of this scope and that it will happen on the property on the far South side out of any Traffic areas.
