Subject: Penney Lofts: Mural proposal for "art exemption"
Hello Vanessa (and congratulations on the promotion!!! …this may not even be a question I am
supposed to send to you anymore :-P). Can you help me process another exemption for an Arts
Commission funded project in downtown Renton? Here is the information for the proposed mural:
- Artist Information:
o Troy Gua, Seattle artist selected by the property owner. The project received a grant
award from the Arts Commission (award letter attached for reference).
- Selected art attached (4 “pop hybrid” pieces voted on and approved by the Arts Commission).
- Photos of the proposed location (below): 700 S 3rd St (south wall facing S 3rd St)
- Master Application (signed by property owner).
