In addition to, or in place of, select weekly meetings, the Consultant and City will arrange, at a mutually
agreed upon time, the following meetings:
1. Project Kickoff
2. Conceptual Design Review
For each scoped meeting, the Consultant will prepare a meeting agenda. It is assumed that the Consultant
will not be required to distribute meeting minutes following each meeting. The Consultant will communicate
with the City to confirm understanding of issues reviewed, feedback from the City and direction received at
these meetings. Meetings will be conducted via videoconference. No in -person meetings are included. Any

supplements to the Agreement which may include the completion of project.
Time is material consideration in the performance of all work by the Consultant under this Agreement. The
Consultant shall complete its work and services within its control to meet the agreed upon schedule. The

Attendance may include additional staff from the Consultant as needed for relay design information and
respond to anticipated City questions or comments. Coordination will be via video conference, telephone
calls, and/or email, as appropriate for the discussion.
Any
in -person meetings, or additional formal meetings requested by the City may require a modification of this
scope, fee and schedule.
The Consultant team project manager will coordinate with any needed subconsultants on a regular basis
regarding project scope/status, project direction, budget, and schedule.
The Consultant will conduct one field visit prior to the Conceptual design submittal to view project locations
and obtain a better understanding of existing conditions. One additional field visit to collect measurements
and site photos is included in the scope.
1.2 Progress Reports and Invoices
The Consultant will prepare monthly progress reports and invoices. Each invoice will include a brief
narrative on work completed for the invoiced amount.
1.3 Project Schedule
The Consultant will provide a project schedule to the City and maintain the schedule with monthly updates
on progress and affected milestones. The schedule will show milestone dates and events necessary to
Exhibit A
complete the plans and special provisions to complete the design of all of The Consultant's scoped projects
in the Safe Routes to Transit Program.
The Consultant understands the City's desire to complete substantial design by December 31, 2020, in
accordance with the agreement between the City and King County for the Safe Routes to Transit Program.
The project schedule assumes that this scope of the project will be completed by December 31, 2020.
However, the overall completion date of this Agreement may be December 31, 2021 to account for future
supplements to the Agreement which may include the completion of project.
Time is material consideration in the performance of all work by the Consultant under this Agreement. The
Consultant shall complete its work and services within its control to meet the agreed upon schedule. The
Consultant shall provide to the Agency monthly updates to the project schedule that identify tasks and
deliverables that require time extensions due to reasonable and/or unforeseen circumstances. The Agency
shall not unreasonably withhold written acceptance of the time extensions.
