The traveling Wastemobile will be at McLendon Hardware (440 Rainier Avenue South) Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. For a list of accepted materials, other drop-off locations, safety tips on transporting household hazardous waste, or to learn how to identify safer products, visit https://kingcountyhazwasteWA.gov. The city’s Solid Waste Utility encourages you whenever possible, please choose safer methods and products that minimize risk to you and your family. • Information about preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures happening this week can be found at http://rentonwa.gov/traffic. All projects are weather permitting and unless otherwise noted, streets will always remain open. Preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures will be at the following locations:  Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Intermittent lane closures along Renton Avenue South at South 132nd Street due to Olympic Gas Line repair. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco at 425-282-2373.  Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Ripley Lane North Trail closure just north of the VMAC and the trailhead going north in support the WSDOT I-405 Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project.
