There is just a concrete foundation for an expired 2007 single family building permit that is still showing up in our 2012 aerial photo. The foundation was incorrectly poured within a native growth protection easement and should have been removed years ago. Can you please check and see that it has been removed? Google street view has not gone down the street so I can't tell. There is no demo permit for the foundation removal. Please log your findings for this into the system. July 1, 2015: A site inspection noted the building foundation remains on the property. (Photo Exhibit#1) No Building Permit: The City of Renton Municipal Code requires building permits to be applied for and obtained by any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure in the city. luly 7, 2015: A Warning of Violation was issued to Gordon Trifts to obtain a demolition permit to remove the existing foundation that was incorrectly poured within the native growth protection easement on this lot. October 3, 2016: Email to Mr. Trifts from Donna Locher trenddevelopment@comcast.net Good Morning Mr. Trifts: On Friday September 30, 2016, a prospective buyer came to city hall and spoke with Senior Planner Mona Davis regarding the above property. Ms. Davis relayed to the 2 prospective buyer that the existing foundation is not buildable due to incorrect placement. The existing foundation is located in a native growth protection easement and must be removed. A demolition permit is required for removal and the easement must be restored to its natural state per a wetlands biologist's review and recommendation. Attached is former correspondence we've had regarding the foundation on this property. If you have any questions please let me know.
