The project is one parcel, TPN 214480-0460, which is approximately 0.75 acre in size. The site is bordered to the north and west by private residential parcels, to the south by South 132nd Street, and to the east by a parcel currently under construction to build condominiums. Administrative site plan review is required as part of the preliminary short plat application for this project. Site grading activities are scheduled to begin in summer of 2021 and end by winter of 2021. Construction activities will take place on weekdays from 7 am to 6 pm, or as otherwise permitted by Renton Municipal Code. These restricted construction hours will help minimize noise impacts from construction activities. Construction vehicles will access the site via South 132nd Street. Construction vehicles traveling to the site from northbound State Route 167 or Northbound I-405 will take the Rainier Avenue South exit (Exit 2 on I-405), 18th Street/SW 43rd Street exit, turn left onto SW Victoria Street, left onto Renton Avenue South, then left again on South 132nd Street. Construction vehicles traveling to the site from southbound I-405 will take Exit 5 (Park Avenue North), turn right on North Southport Drive, which becomes Logan Avenue North, turn right on Airport Way, which becomes Renton Ace Extension, to Renton Avenue South, then left on 8054 South 132nd Street. The source of fill material or the destination of construction waste material is not known at this point. It is anticipated that fill will be provided from commercial sources and waste will be disposed of at landfills. Erosion control measures expected to be implemented include watering and cover measures for dust control, a construction entrance to reduce transport of sediment, silt fence and inlet protection devices to prevent sediment from leaving the project site, and street sweeping to prevent tracking of sediment onto adjacent surfaces. Installation of the frontage sidewalk and utility connections in the roadway will require temporary traffic control. It is anticipated that a lane closure would be required for the sewer main installation.
