Subject: Expiration of Temporary Use Permit
Pointe Heron Tier II Temporary Use Permit, LUA14-001619, TP
Dear Mr. Blais:
This letter is to inform you that the Temporary Use Permit (TUP, LUA14-001619) approval for the temporary
operation of the Pointe Heron bulk storage facility expired on February 17, 2020. The expiration of this TUP
necessitate that a formal land use application be obtained if you would like to continue the operation of the
Pointe Heron bulk storage facility at its current site, 510 Monster Road SW (APN's 3779200005, 3779200008
and 3779200009).
We are aware that you completed a pre-application (PRE20-000191) for the continued operation of the Pointe
Heron bulk storage facility and that a meeting was held on September 3, 2020 with City Staff. Since the date of
this meeting no formal land use application has been submitted. A formal land use application shall be applied
for within 90 days of the date of this letter unless a mutually agreed upon date is reached between the
applicant and the City. Please note the current operations at this site are out of compliance with the code and
this situation needs your immediate attention.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the information provided in this letter please feel free to reach
out to me at (425) 430-7289.
Sincerely,
Clark H. Close
