ismutuallyagreeduponthatCAG-20-106isamendedasfollows:1.ScopeofWork:Section1,ScopeofWork,isamendedtoadd DocuSignLnvelopeID:OEDFFE11-7302-4EOD-88F9-050E7025664AEXHIBITA-2MMOflMMACDONALDAmendment2CityofRentonSeaplaneBaseFacility-FloodDamageAssessmentScopeofWorkIntroductionMottMacDonald(MM)haspreparedthefollowingAmendment2fortheCityofRenton’s(City)review.Thepurposeofthisamendmentistotransfercommonscopethatwasoriginallysplit,separatelybetweentheFloodDamageAssessmentSeaplaneBase(WestsideofCedarRiverdelta)andtheFloodDamageAssessmentfortheBoatHouse(EastsideofCedarRiverdelta)developedtoassesstheimpactsofflooddamageandsedimentationwithintheCedarRiverdeltafollowingtheFebruary2020CedarRiverfloodevents.MottMacDonald’soriginalassumptionwasthatbothprojectswouldhavebeenexecutedsimultaneously,andthereforecommontasksandestimatedfeescouldbesharedbetweenthetwoprojectsforthepurposesofmeetingFEMAfundingrequirements.WiththeBoatHouseprojectbeingcanceled/postponed,itisMottMacDonaldsrequestthatportionsofthecommonscopeandfeeitemsbetransferredfromthecanceled/postponedBoatHouseprojecttotheSeaplaneBaseFacilityFloodDamageAssessmentproject.Additionally,newscopeandfeeisalsoaddedforadditionalsurveymobilizationandplannedcorrespondencewithFEMAtodiscusstheengineeringassessmentworkspertinenttofloodimpactsandsedimentationthathaveoccurredsincethelastmaintenancedredgingevent,completedin2014.AssumptionsThisscopeofworkisbasedonthefollowingassumptions:•AllpreviousassumptionsdevelopedfortheoriginalcontractapplytoAmendment2.•ThisscopeofworkincludestheTask3andTask4worksasoutlinedherein.ThisworkissupplementaltotheTask1andTask2worksaspartoftheoriginalcontract.ScopeTasksTask3—AdditionalDataCollectionandReporting•HydrographicSurvey.Amendedscopeandfeecarriedovertothisprojectincludestimeforsingle-beamandmulti-beamhydrographicsurveys(includingtheuseofUnmannedSurfaceVessels(USV)andUnmannedAerialVehicle(UAV)equipment)thatwasdedicatedfortheBoatHouseproject.ScopeandfeewillbetransferredtotheSeaplaneBaseFloodDamageAssessmentproject.AdditionaltimeformobilizationanddemobilizationandcoordinationwiththeCityofRentonandtheFAAisalsoincluded.Amendment2—ConceptualEngineering10/29/2020CityofRenton—SeaplaneBaseFloodDamageAssessmentPage1 DocuSignEnvelopeID:OEDFFE11-7302-4EOD-88F9-050E7025664ATask4—AdditionalAssessmentandRepairWorkConceptualEngineeringMottMacDonaldhasidentifiedthefollowingtasksasscopeandfeethatwassharedbetweenthetwoprojects.Itisproposedthatadditionalfeesfromthecanceled/postponedBoatHouseprojectbetransferredtotheSeaplaneBaseproject(currentcontract).Thetasksincludedarelistedanddescribedbelowandreferencetheoriginalscopeofworkforthecontract.Additionally,newscopeandfeeisallocatedforfutureFEMAcorrespondence.•ExistingDataCompilation.MMwillcollectreadilyavailabledataandassemblerelevantexistingdatafromCityandMottMacDonalddatabaseincludinghistoricalsurveys,priorphasepermits,constructiondrawings,designreportsforuseinconductingtheassessmentwork.•HydrodynamicsAssessment.Conductaqualitativereviewofthehydrodynamics(rivercurrents,lakewaves,sedimenttransport)withinthedeltausingacombinationofhistoricalsurveys,aerialphotographsandpriorhydraulicanalysisworkfortheCedarRiver.Purposeistoassistwithassessingpotentialfuturefloodeventmitigationstrategiestoreduceimpactsfromsedimentationanddebrisloading.•MitigationAssessment.Basedonareviewofthehydrodynamics,sedimentationandpriorworkexperienceatthesite,evaluatepotentialmitigativeoptionstoreducetheriskoffuturefloodinducedsedimentationattheSeaplaneBasefacility.Reviewofup2alternativeconceptsandcorrespondingcosts.•DebrisRemovalAssessment.Reviewaerialphotos,diveinspectionresultsandhydrographicsurveytodelineatethedebristhatposesathreattoSeaplaneBaseinfrastructureandoperations(navigationareas).Assesstheestimatedcostandmethodsforremovalunderanemergencybasisforcompletionpriortoconductingthedredgingwork.•FEMACorrespondence.Participateinone(1)in-personlvirtualmeetingwiththeCityandFEMAtodiscusstheresultsoftheSedimentationandDredgingAssessmenttaskanddeveloprecommendationsforemergencyactionandfundingrequirements.FeeEstimateEstimatedadditionalfeestocompletethescopeofworkaboveissummarizedbelow.WorkwillbeconductedonaTime&MaterialsBasisperthepreviousagreedbillingratesandshallnotexceedtheestimatedfeewithoutadvancedwrittenapprovalbytheCity.TaskAdditionalFeeTask3—AdditionalDataCollectionand$9,745ReportingTask4—AdditionalAssessmentandRepair$10,550WorkConceptualEngineeringTOTALS$20,295Amendment2—ConceptualEngineering10/29/2020CityofRenton—SeaplaneBaseFloodDamageAssessmentPage2
