PR20-000195 Seattle Seahawks Covid Testing Site / LUA20-000164, TP
Dear Mr. Barron:
This office has reviewed your request (dated January 13, 2021) to extend an approved Tier 1 Temporary Use
Permit for a the Seattle Seahawks COVID-19 testing site (File No. LUA20-000164, TP) that will expire on July 14,
2021.
Pursuant to RMC 4-9-240O, the municipal code allows the City to issue a permit extension beyond one year
provided the request is made prior to permit expiration. Therefore, your Temporary Use Permit request is
approved. The TUP will expire on February 28, 2022.
You should be aware this office is empowered to issue only one such extension. If the temporary healthcare
structure and supporting equipment at its current site, the Virginia Mason Athletic Center- Seahawks
Headquarters – 12 Seahawks Way (APN 2924059015), become necessary beyond the new expiration date you
will need to reapply for permits.
