Re: Huynh Short Plat
As requested, I personally inspected the site. I was charged with making recommendations for and
offering an opinion on the condition of the row of trees in the neighboring yard to the north of the
project. What follows is a brief discussion on those conditions with the recommendations.
I previously inspected the property and commented on the proposed construction. I found that there
was an existing driveway along the northern edge of the property. The soil was heavily compacted from
driveway use. This type of compaction restricts root growth stopping it at the edge of the
driveway/compaction. As originally planned, I found any impact to the trees would be minimal and
recommended mitigation for any roots found.
I returned to the site, the week of 11/10/2020
While on site I did notice 2 roots on one tree that had been cut. The roots had been properly trimmed
to allow for compartmentalization to occur. The condition of the trees in my opinion was unchanged
from my initial inspection and look to be in good health with no discernible ill effects from the
constrution.
Respectfully Submitted,
