EXIT DOORS SHALL BE OPENABLE FROM THE EGRESS SIDE WITHOUT SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, EFFORT OR THE USE OF A SPECIAL KEY OR LATCH. 2. EXIT DOORS SHALL SWING IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL WHEN SERVING AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR MORE OR AN "H" OCCUPANCY. 3. UNLATCHING FORCE OF PANIC HARDWARE SHALL NOT EXCEED 15 POUNDS WHEN APPLIED IN THE DIRECTION OF TRAVEL. 4. MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL BE ILLUMINATED AT ANY TIME THE BUILDING IS OCCUPIED WITH LIGHT HAVING AN INTENSITY OF NOT LESS THAN ONE FOOT CANDLE AT WALKING SURFACE LEVEL EXIT ILLUMINATION FIXTURES SHALL BE ON A SEPARATE NIGHT LIGHT CIRCUIT WITH BATTERY BACK-UP EXIT ILLUMINATION SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR NOT LESS THAN 90 MINUTES VIA STORAGE BATTERIES, OR ON-SITE GENERATOR. 5. DOORS IN ANY POSITION SHALL NOT REDUCE THE REQUIRED CORRIDOR EXIT WIDTH BY MORE THAN HALF. 8. MAIN EXIT DOORS WITHOUT PANIC HARDWARE SHALL HAVE A SIGN WITH LETTERS ON A CONTRASTING BACKGROUND STATING: “THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS OCCUPIED” 9. EXIT ACCESS HAS BEEN BASED UPON PROGRAM INFORMATION PROVIDED TO NELSON BY THE INTENDED OCCUPANT OF THIS SPACE. SIGNAGE SHALL BE LOCATED AT LATCH SIDE OF SINGLE DOOR AND RIGHT SIDE OF DOUBLE DOORS FROM DIRECTION OF EGRESS. 12. SIGNAGE AND TACTILE FLOOR DESIGNATIONS SHALL BE LOCATED AT EACH STAIR IDENTIFYING EACH STAIR BY NAME OR NUMBER. 13. FOR A-3 OCCUPANCIES PROVIDE SIGNAGE POSTING THE ROOM CAPACITY. 14. SIGNAGE AND TACTILE SIGNAGE SHALL BE LOCATED AT EACH DELAYED EGRESS LOCK READING "KEEP PUSHING. THIS DOOR WILL OPEN IN 15 SECONDS. ALARM WILL SOUND." 15. SIGNAGE AND TACTILE SIGNAGE SHALL BE PROVIDED AT EACH EXIT DOOR WITH DELAYED EGRESS LOCK, AND SHALL BE LOCATED ABOVE AND WITHIN 12" OF DOOR EXIT HARDWARE. A.
