2AMENDMENTNO.2TOAGREEMENTFORCAG-20-338THISAMENDMENT,dated,isbyandbetweentheCityofRenton(the“City”),aWashingtonmunicipalcorporation,andTranspoGroup(“Consultant”),aWashingtoncorporation.TheCityandtheConsultantarereferredtocollectivelyinthisAmendmentasthe“Parties.”OncefullyexecutedbytheParties,thisAmendmentiseffectiveasofthelastdatesignedbybothparties.Whereas,theCityengagedtheservicesoftheConsultantunder AgreementCAG-20-338,datedSeptember30,2020,toprovidenecessaryservicesfortheSafeRoutestoTransit—DesignServices—CAG-20-338(referredtohereinasthe“Agreement”);Whereas,thePartieswishtoamendtheAgreementtochangethescopeof work,inordertocompletebid-readyplansforthreeprojectsitesandcompleteWSDOTpermitrequirementsforoneprojectsite,asdescribedintheScopeofWork.NOWTHEREFORE,ItismutuallyagreeduponthatCAG-20-338isamendedasfollows:1.ScopeofWork:Section1,ScopeofWork,isamendedtoaddworkandmodifytheWorkasspecifiedinExhibitA-2,whichisattachedandincorporatedherein2.TimeofPerformance:Thereisnochangeinthetimeofperformance.AllWorkshallbeperformedbynolaterthanDecember25,2025.3.Compensation:Therearenoadditionalfundsrequestedforthisamendment.ThisworkisfundedundertheSafeRoutestoTransitProgramagreement(CAG-20-156)withKingCountyMetroTransit.Transit.TranspoGroupwillusetheremainingfundsfrom$99,000approved forAmendment#1.4.AlltermsoftheAgreementnotexplicitlymodifiedhereinshallremaininfullforceandeffectandsuchtermsshallapplytoWorkperformedaccordingtothisAmendmentasiffullysetforthherein.INWITNESS ExhibitA-2—ScopeofWorkClientName:CityofRenton-_______________________________________________ProjectName:SafeRoutestoTransitProgram—SupplementBExhibitDated:February5,2021TG:1.20204.00ScopeofServicesTranspoGroupUSA,Inc.(Transpo)willprovidesupplementalengineeringservicestotheCityofRenton(City)forthefinalbid-readydesignofprojectsdefinedanddevelopedundertheoriginalagreementandSupplement.Transpoisreferredtoasthe“Consultant”inthefollowingscope.RefertotheoriginalagreementandSupplementforprojectlocationsandprojectelementdescriptions.TheConsultantworkprogramissupplementedwiththefollowingtasks:Task8.Bid-ReadyFinalDesign(Projects02,04,07)Task9.WSDOTCoordination(Project03)AssumptionsTheConsultanthasdevelopedthisscopewiththeassumptionoftheprojectelementsidentifiedintheProjectDefinitionSectionoftheoriginalScopeandSupplementasthebasisofdesign.Modificationstotheseprojectelements,includingtheadditionorremovalofprojectelementssuchasnewcurbing,increasedsignage,relocationofimprovementsoradditionalpavementmarkingsmayrequireanegotiatedfeeandschedulemodificationbetweentheConsultantandtheCity.TheConsultantwillnotifytheCityassoonaspossibleoftheanticipatedimpactofchangestoprojectelementsonfeeandschedule.•ProjectsonSunsetBoulevardandShattuckAvenue(03and06)fromtheOriginalAgreementwillbecompletedbyCityofRentonin-housestaffandwillnotbeadvancedpastthecurrentdesignlevel.ResponsestocommentsprovidedbytheCityatthePre-100%levelwillbecompletedandfinalplanswillbeprovidedtotheCity.•TheCityofRentonhasobtainedmaterialsfortheconstructionoftheseprojectsthroughothermeansundertheOriginalAgreement.Thedevelopmentofcostestimateswillrelyonsubtractingthecostofmaterials,asprovidedbytheCityofRenton,fromunitcostsavailablefromtheCityofRenton,WSDOTandotherrecentlycompletedconstructionprojectsdesignedbytheConsultant.•Task9isthehighestremainingpriorityfortheCityofRentonTask1.ProjectManagementandCoordination1.1ProjectCoordinationandMeetingsTheConsultantteamprojectmanagerwillcoordinatewiththeCity’sprojectmanageronanongoingbasisthroughoutthedurationoftheproject.Schedulingofmeetingswillbeonanas-neededbasis,butnolongerthantwoweeksinbetweenmeetingsisdesirable.TheConsultantteamprojectmanagerwillcoordinatewithanyneededsubconsultantsonaregularbasisregardingprojectscope/status,projectdirection,budget,andschedule.Transpo-RentonAccesstoTransitProjectsScope-AmendmentNo.2.docx CurbrampsthatweredesignedaspartofthePre-100%planswillbefinalized,withanyelevationsandgeometrypointsnotcompletedforthePre-100%planscalculatedorobtainedfromsupplementalsurvey.ThefinalcurbrampdetailswillbeofasufficientlevelofdetailtoconstructthecurbrampsincompliancewithADArequirements.TrafficSignalPlansFoundationdesignsfortrafficsignalsproposedaspartoftheProjectwillbedevelopedbasedonthegeoetechnicalinformationobtainedfromasubconsultantintheProject04area.ThefoundationdesignwillsupplementwhatwasdevelopedfortrafficsignalsaspartofthePre-100%plans.8B.2CostEstimateTheConsultantwillusethepreviouslycompletedmaterialsestimateofequipmentandmaterialfortheCityasabasistodevelopacostestimateforconstructionofthecombinedProject.UnitcostswillbeobtainedfromCityofRentonrecentlybidprojects,WSDOTbidtabs,andrecentlycompleteddesignprojectsbytheConsultant.Thecostofmaterials,asprovidedbytheCityofRenton,willbesubtractedfromtheexpectedunitcosttodeterminetheestimatedlaborcostsforinstallationofallmaterialsneededtocompletetheProjects,asdesigned.8B.3SpecificationsTheConsultantwillprepareadocumentofsupplementalspecialprovisionsrequired,beyondthoseofWSDOTortheCityofRentonstandards.ThespecificationswillbeprovidedtotheCityforoneroundofreviewandcommentspriortofinalizing.AgencySupport•TimelyreviewofthePre-100%submittalpackage,includingcoordinationwithotherCitydepartmentsaffectedbytheproposedworkinProjects02,04and07.•Bidhistoryandsupportingresearchonconstructioncostsforthepreviouslyobtainedmaterialstocompletethecostestimate•CompletionofDivision1specificationsandthebidpackage,otherthanspecialprovisionsConsultantDeliverables•FinaldesigndrawingsprovidedasPDF11x17sheets•Constructioncostestimate•SpecialSpecifications,asrequired,tocompletethedesignTask9.WSDOTCoordinationTask9involvestheConsultantleadingcoordinationandapprovaloftheProject03crossingmodificationsonSunsetBlvd(SR900)byWSDOT.TheConsultantwillleadthecommunicationwithWSDOTandassisttheCitywithsecuringpermitsforinstallationofthethreeimprovementsinProject03.TheConsultantwillprepareandsubmitWSDOTChannelizationPlansforApproval(PFA)foreachofthethreesitesinProject03.ThePFAwillincludeone(1)coversheet,two(2)alignmentsheets,three(3)channelizationsheets,includingsectiondetails,foratotalofsix(6)sheets.ThebasisofthesePFAplanswillbethepreviouslycompletedPre-100%Finalsheets.SomemodificationofthosesheetsisanticipatedtomeetWSDOTPFArequirementsasincludedintheWSDOTDesignManual.Transpo-RentonAccesstoTransitProjectsScope-AmendmentNo.2.docx
