APPLICABILITY OF EXEMPTIONS: The following is a general list of activities that may be exempt from the critical areas regulations. More specific descriptions of the activities are contained in the Critical Areas Regulations. Some of the listed activities may not be exempt in certain critical areas. The proposed SRTC site (formerly Sound Ford) is located northeast of the intersection of Rainier Avenue S and S Grady Way; the site is owned by Sound Transit and is currently vacant. The site investigative activities include: geotechnical borings, geoarchaeological borings, an infiltration test pit, utility potholing, and environmental site assessment borings.
