Strong Tiger Mountain Homes / Mark Fury Site Works P. Cloudy 50’s THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED: Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. (AESI) arrived on site in the AM in order to observe earthwork activities. Upon arrival we met with representatives of Tiger Mountain Homes. Storm Drain Trench Backfill: Prior to our arrival Fury had installed and backfilled for storm drain trench from CB #1 toward CB #2A (Fig 1). Backfill was approximately 3-4’ thick over the pipe comprised of imported 5/8” minus crushed rock. Backfill was placed in multiple lifts and compacted utilizing a vibratory ho-pac. AESI completed compaction tests on the surface and achieved results which meet minimum compaction specifications (Table 1). Site Fill: Prior to our arrival Fury had filled for roadway (Fig 2). We were informed that fill was approximately 1’ thick comprised of imported sand with gravel and some silt. We were informed that fill was placed in lifts 6” thick and compacted utilizing a smooth-drummed vibratory roller. AESI completed compaction tests at depth and achieved results which meet minimum compaction specifications (Table 1).
