Strong Tiger Mountain Homes / Mark Fury Site Works P. Cloudy 50’s THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED: Associated Earth Sciences, Inc. (AESI) arrived on site in the PM in order to observe earthwork activities. Upon arrival we met with representatives of Tiger Mountain Homes. Site Fill: Prior to our arrival Fury had filled for sidewalk subgrade at the northeast side of the site (Fig 1). We were informed by the contractor that prior to filling they had stripped the area of deleterious material. Fill was approximately 8-12” thick comprised of imported very gravelly sand with some silt. Compaction was achieved utilizing a vibratory ho-pac. AESI observed and assessed the area utilizing a ½” diameter steel soil probe. In our opinion this fill was compacted to a firm and unyielding condition. AESU departed the site in the PM and will return upon request. Figure 1: Red outlined area shows the approximate location of fill observed.
