2.THE ROOF AND FOOTING DRAIN SYSTEMS ARE PRIVATELY MAINTAINED.
3.FLOW PATTERN SHOULD BE TO THE NEAREST CB IF GRADE ALLOWS, OR TO THE NEXT DOWNSTREAM CB.
4.ROOF DRAIN COLLECTORS MUST BE ANALYZED FOR CAPACITY, SIZED FOR 25-YEAR PEAK FLOW.
5.PVC PIPE MUST BE SDR 35 OR THICKER AND MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF ASTM D3034.
6.PVC PIPE USED IN PRIVATELY MAINTAINED DRAINAGE SYSTEMS MUST BE WHITE IN COLOR.
7.SEE CONSTRUCTION PLANS FOR SPECIFIC PROJECT REQUIREMENTS.
8.AREA DRAIN WITHIN CRAWL SPACE IS ALLOWED TO CONNECT INTO THE STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM WITH
THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
A.THE CONNECTION IS TO BE TIGHT LINED A MINIMUM OF 10' OUTSIDE OF THE FOUNDATION, AND IN NO
CASE CONNECTED UPSTREAM OF THE FOOTING DRAIN SYSTEM FOR THE HOUSE.
B.THE AREA DRAIN MUST BE ROUTED THROUGH A SUMP PUMP SYSTEM PRIOR TO CONNECTION TO THE
PUBLIC STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM TO HELP PREVENT BACKUP DURING SURCHARGE CONDITIONS.
