Construction Mitigation Description
Proposed Construction Dates:
· 01/01/2022-5/15/2023
Proposed Hauling/Transportation Routes:
· The primary construction access point will be located on Jefferson Street, at the most north corner of the
jobsite. Trucks will divert from this entrance turn right onto NE 10th Street. From 10th Street the driver will
turn East or West onto Sunset Blvd NE to correspond with Renton’s Truck Route Map.
Measures to be implemented to minimize dust, traffic and transportation impacts, erosion, mud, noise, and other
noxious characteristics:
· A perimeter fence with a silt screen will minimize dust infiltration to neighbors and will limit erosion within
the project site.
· Street cleaning will be utilized though the wet months to keep mud off the surrounding streets.
· Typical Hours of Construction. Most construction activities will be limited to standard construction hours
between 7:00AM-6:00PM. on non-holiday weekdays. Construction workers may arrive at the site prior to
standard start times; however, noisy set-up activity will be expressly prohibited prior to 7:00AM on
weekdays, 9:00AM-6:00PM on Saturdays and no work will be allowed on Sundays without proper noise
variance approvals from the city. Any equipment warm-up prior to standard start times will be monitored
to not disturb neighbors.
Any special hours proposed for construction or hauling:
· Special work hours are not proposed at this time.
Preliminary Traffic Control Plan:
· Traffic will not need to be repatterned or controlled further. To minimize construction traffic off NE 10th
Street, hauling and large construction transportation will be limited to Jefferson Street.
