THE CONTRACT IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS:
Description of Change:
At Sierra Heights Elementary School, the installation of the median is removed from the
contract and the removal and installation of pavement markings are revised as shown on the
attached revised plan sheets 4, 7, and 10.
Reason for Change:
A bus turning analysis at the school exit shows the median would interfere with the bus turning
movements and the width of the median was less than the design standard of six feet .

Equitable Adjustment:
This Change Order does include an equitable adjustment per Section 1-09.4 of the 2020
WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications.
The Work will be measured and paid under the respective unit and lump sum prices.
The attached Equitable Adjustment Summary lists the unit and lump sum bid items that
are adjusted due to this change. The adjustments to the unit bid item quantities are
estimates; the Contractor will be paid based on the actual quantities installed.
See attached.
Extension of Time:
The Time for Completion is extended 0 Working Days.

Sections 1-04.4 and 1-04.5 of the 2020 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications shall govern
this Change Order. The Work of the referenced Contract is modified to include the changes
detailed herein. The payment provided for herein shall constitute the complete and final
settlement for all costs of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, profit, permit fees, and all
other claims that may be made by the Contractor as a result of this change.
