The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals. See also https://cutt.ly/CnYPEeM PERMITS/REVIEW REQUESTED: Tier 2 Temporary Use Permit Review PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant, Todd Anderson of Anderson and Associates, is requesting a Tier 2 Temporary Use Permit to allow for an off-site service and associated vehicle storage at 16950 116th Ave SE (APN 2823059009). The 13.6 acre site is located in the Commercial Arterial (CA) zone, Urban Design District D overlay, and Commercial Mixed Use Comprehensive Plan land use designation. Per RMC 4-2-060, 'Off-site services' and 'Vehicle storage' are not permitted uses in the CA zone at the subject location. Proposed uses on the site would include a moving company (off-site service) and the storage of moving trucks with various sizes (vehicle storage). The moving company, One Nation Moving & Storage, occupies a tenant space in an existing multi-tenant building on the site. A total of six (6) moving trucks would be stored on the site including three (3) 26-foot box trucks, one 18-foot box truck, on 16-foot box truck, and one 14-foot box truck. According to the applicant, the moving trucks would operate off-site during the day between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm and would be stored in a loading dock area on the east side of the building at night. No changes to the site are proposed and no trees or vegetation would be impacted by the proposed use. According to COR Maps, no critical areas are present on the site.
