Detour will be out to Maple Valley Highway between Cedar River Park and Riverview Park. For your safety, please follow directions on all posted signage. o Boat launch permits are for launching at Gene Coulon Park and can be purchased online at rentonwa.gov/boatlaunch, or call 425-430-6700 and press 8. Boat launch parking area is open to tow vehicles with trailers only, and car toppers. All others may be cited. o No dogs are allowed at Gene Coulon and Kennydale Beach Parks, and no bicycles on the pedestrian trail at Coulon Park. All other parks and trails allow dogs on six-foot leashes or visit the off-leash Cedar River Dog Park at 1500 Houser Way South. o For updated parks and trails information, see rentonwa.gov/parks or contact Community Services at 425-430-6600. • Information about preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures happening this week can be found at http://rentonwa.gov/traffic. All projects are weather permitting and unless otherwise noted, streets will always remain open. Preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures will be at the following locations:  Monday, June 28 through Thursday, July 1, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. After-hours construction may take place along Airport Way at Logan Avenue South to allow the contractor to modify an existing traffic signal and intersection illumination system. Mitigation measures will be implemented, and outreach conducted to those possibly impacted by the nighttime construction. The following is a list of locations and dates during which traffic will be impacted while maintenance crews conduct asphalt repairs. Project work hours are listed for each location. Randy Corman, Council President Members of Renton City Council Page 2 of 2 June 21, 2021 o Wednesday, June 23, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The eastbound curb lane will be closed along SE Carr Road between Talbot Road South and 103rd Avenue SE/Mill Avenue South. Traffic through the intersection of SE Carr Road and Smithers Avenue South will be maintained via a red flashing all- way stop and police. o Thursday, June 24, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Traffic flow will be maintained by flaggers on northbound and southbound Talbot Road South at South 45th Street.  Ongoing Trail Closure through Summer 2021. Ripley Lane North Trail closure just north of the VMAC and the trailhead going north in support the WSDOT I- 405 Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project. Impacts to traffic will continue throughout this area between South 2nd Street and South 3rd Street.
