CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION
PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION DATES
No specific construction dates have been established. The project in anticipated to start in second quarter
(Q2) of 2022. The project is estimated to have an eighteen (18) month duration.
HOURS AND DAYS OF OPERATION
Construction would occur Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM (or as
directed for Holidays). Work on Saturdays would occur between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM. There will be no
work on Sundays.
PROPOSED HAULING/TRANSPORTATION ROUTES
See the attached haul/transportation exhibit produced by McKee Enterprises (attached as Exhibit A).
MEASURE TO MITIGATE NOXIOUS IMPACTS
During the excavation phase of the project industry standard dust control will be utilized. Daily monitoring
of dust will be performed by the General Contractor and its Subcontractors.
Onsite traffic will be limited to avoid “track out”. Street sweeping will be conducted when excavated
materials are hauled away from the project and when concrete pours occur.
Traffic impacts are anticipated to be minimal. Traffic control plans will be submitted for review and
approval. Traffic control measure will be in place as/if required and generally only during the hours of
construction activity.
Due to the proximity of the Interstate, noise is not expected to increase.
SPECIAL HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION
Special Hours of Construction shall be coordinated with the City as/if required.
TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN
When hauling or deliveries occur the General Contractor will provide a traffic control plan for review and
approval. There may be multiple traffic control plans based on the activity that will be performed.
CRANES USED FOR CONSTRUCTION
A tower crane will be utilized for hoisting on this project. The project is outside of the Renton Municipal
airport control area.
