submitted CAG-19-001, Renton Avenue South Resurfacing

following payments:
1. Accounts Payable – total payment of
$7,053,538.20 for vouchers, 10299-10315, 392465-
392469, 392479-392898; payroll benefit withholding
vouchers 6590-6600, 392470-392478 and three wire
transfers.
2. Payroll – total payment of $1,490,242.03 for
payroll vouchers that include 569 direct deposits and 7
checks. (05/16/21-05/31/21 pay period).
3. Kidder Mathews vouchers 6348-6361 totaling
$26,278.35

concurring in the staff recommendation to renew the
city’s property, pollution, and cyber insurance coverage
through Alliant Insurance Services. The rate of increase is
47.95% primarily due to market conditions, for a total
annual premium cost of $762,706.82. The Mayor and City
Clerk are authorized to execute the implementing
documents when ready.

the resolution to amend the Interagency Agreement with
the Washington State Department of Commerce for the

authorize the Mayor to execute said agreement in
substantially the same form.

9.a) Resolution: Resolution No. 4440: A resolution was read authorizing
the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into Amendment
Number 1 to the interlocal agreement entitled
Interagency Agreement for E2SHB 1923 Grant to adopt a
Housing Action Plan between the City of Renton and
Washington State Department of Commerce, Growth
Management Services.

9.b) Ordinance for
second and final
reading:
Ordinance No. 6020: An ordinance was read amending
Section 10-11-1 of the Renton Municipal Code, reducing
the speed limit in certain locations in the Lacrosse
Neighborhood located in the vicinity of Lincoln Avenue
Northeast, Monterey Court Northeast and Northeast 35th
Street from twenty-five (25) miles per hour to twenty (20)
miles per hour, reducing the speed limit of Puget Drive
Southeast from Edmonds Avenue Southeast to Benson
Road South from forty (40) miles per hour to thirty-five
(35) miles per hour, increasing the speed limit of South
132nd Street from west City limits to Renton Avenue
South from twenty-five (25) miles per hour to thirty (30)
miles per hour, providing for severability, and establishing
an effective date.
