Dear Mr. Hanson:
The City of Renton has approved the above referenced lot line adjustment and has forwarded the
final mylars to King County for recording.
Please note the recording of the lot line adjustment map alone does not transfer ownership of
property. If necessary, prepare and record a deed transferring ownership of the portion of land
depicted in the lot line adjustment map. We recommend that the legal description for this
document be prepared by a surveyor. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure this document is
properly prepared and recorded with the County.

L D-30-0239,respectively,on the drawing.

the ties to the City of Renton Survey Control Network do not work.
The distance of 323.92 feet,from the intersection of Aberdeen Ave NE and NE 24th Street to the
north line of the subject property,places said property considerably south of the location
in icated per the legal description. In addition,the dimension shown for the parcel to the north,
b sed on the legal description, should be 80 feet±. Please explain.

Dear Mr. Hanson:
The City has finished reviewing your proposed lot line adjustment and is now ready to approve
and send the final version for recording. Please submit two sets of an original signed mylar and a
check for$15.29 made out to CD&L to me at the sixth floor counter of City Hall.
Please verify that the mylars have been signed by all owners of record and have been notarized
with an ink stamp (not embossed). The ink stamp must be legible so that King County will
promptly record the lot line adjustment.
This decision to approve the proposed lot line adjustment is subject to a fourteen (14) day appeal
period from the date of this letter. Any appeals of the administrative decision must be filed with
the City of Renton Hearing Examiner by 5:00 pm, October 31, 2002
Appeals must be filed in writing together with the required$75.00 application fee with: Hearing
Examiner, City of Renton, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98055.
Appeals to the Examiner are governed by City of Renton Municipal Code Section 4-8-110.
Additional information regarding the appeal process may be obtained from the Renton City Clerk's
Office, (425) 430-6510.

Dear Mr. Hanson:
The City of Renton has completed the initial review of your proposed lot line adjustment. The
following changes will be necessary in order for the City to approve your proposal:
1. Please include the original lot square footage and the proposed lot square footage on the
revised site plan.
2. Note the City of Renton land use action number and land record number, LUA-02-001-LLA
and LND-30-0239, respectively, on the drawing.
3. Provide lot closure calculations.
4. The distance shown between Mon #369 and the monument to the north is incorrect.
Therefore, the ties to the City of Renton Survey Control Network do not work.
5. The distance of 323.92 feet, from the intersection of Aberdeen Ave NE and NE 24th Street to
the north line of the subject property, places said property considerably south of the location
indicated per the legal description. In addition,the dimension shown for the parcel to the
north, based on the legal description,should be 80 feet±. Please explain.
6. Change all references to"Boundary Line Adjustment"on both drawing sheets to Lot Line
Adjustment, which is more appropriate for the City of Renton.
7. Currently, the county designated street name (SE 100th ST) is noted on the drawing, but the
City of Renton street name (NE 24th Street)for said same street is not noted.
8. Note all easements, agreements and covenants of record on the drawing.
9. Note the address with the corresponding lot designation.
10. Remove references to utility facilities, retaining walls, concrete pavement and other items not
directly impacting the subdivision. Remove unnecessary items from the"LEGEND"on Sheet
2of2.
11. Note that if there are restrictive covenants or agreements to others as part of this subdivision,
they can be recorded concurrently with the lot line adjustment. The lot line adjustment
drawing and the associated document(s) are to be given to the Project Manager as a
package. The lot line adjustment shall have the first recording number. The recording
number(s) for the associated document(s)will be referenced on the lot line adjustment in the
appropriate locations.

The proposal is to move the lot line of the lot at 2509 Aberdeen Ave NE eleven and one half feet to the
north in order to accommodate a subdivision of the lot.The Riley Short Plat application is being submitted
at the same time as this application.
The current zoning of the site and surrounding area is R-8.Two lots are involved,one at 2509 Aberdeen
