Dear Mr. Siebert:
Thank you for speaking with me on the telephone on Tuesday. Our conversation was productive
in helping me understand the items enumerated in your letter of April 22nd, regarding the
restoration of land owned by the Clover Creek Homeowners Association, which was damaged
by Mr. Hirani's backyard improvement efforts.
Out Board of Directors has authorized me to approve the work itemized in your letter of April
22nd Therefore, incorporated in this letter is the Clover Creek Homeowner's approval of your
proposal. This letter also authorizes the City of Renton to remove any `hold' they have on your
project related to our HOA.
I also spoke to Ms. Brittany Gillia, Associate Planner for the City of Renton. She will accept this
letter along with whatever other information you need to submit to satisfy the City of Renton's
requirements to move forward with your project. By copy of this letter I am asking Ms. Gillia to
notify the Clover Creek HOA of any further permitting associated with this project, as we have a
direct interest in all aspects of the various projects that are either underway or are being
considered on the property located at 2708 Williams Ave N., Renton, WA.
This letter does not alleviate the requirement for Mr. Hirani to obtain a `variance' (permission)
from our HOA to actually proceed with any work done with regard to restoration of the HOA's
land or any other work he is contemplating in or around his backyard. This permission is fairly
perfunctory, as the HOA will likely simply accept the City of Renton's approval of any work as
satisfactory for out purposes. However, we will need to be on record as receiving plans and
other documentation regarding Mr. Hirani's projects.
