Ken,
I took a look at the approved construction documents and it appears that the TIR supports that a 12” pipe will be sufficient and that the 18” could be reduced. However, as Ben is the
engineer of record for the project and I need to have his confirmation that the change to reduce the pipe size is acceptable before I will confirm.

Any update on the 18” Ductile on the Alley and the Burnett
As I mentioned to you, it makes no sense to have an 18’ and a 12” inlet to a 12” Outlet
It is a long lead item for the 18”

You do not need an additional ROW permit, the civil permit authorizes the work within the ROW.
You do need an approved traffic control plan. These take about 5 days to obtain and information on the application, what to include and where to submit it can be found on the website

Good Afternoon All,
I spoke with Ken this afternoon, our construction project manager and coordinator for the project, and he would like to start the frontage improvements next week per the conditions of
the above issued permit. Several questions he asked was 1) Is there a specific ROW permit that needs to be applied for on top of the C20002384 and, 2) Is there a traffic control plan
that needs to be submitted to a COR department for approval?
Again, Ken is planning on starting the process next week and will work closely with Brad onsite for a successful completion.

Glen,
It doesn’t look like the water line elevations were verified given the note on the plans to pothole. I am really concerned that there is a conflict and don’t want to approve a change
until it is demonstrated that it is feasible.
As builts for the water, attached, indicate that there is 3 ft of cover and extrapolating the profile view and estimating based on your plans puts the IE around 81.8 ft. At this depth
it is impossible to put the storm above the water line and provide either separation between utilities or cover on the storm line; and to put the storm below, even while lessening the
slope to 0.5%, would provide a little less than 1 ft of separation. I need to understand how this is going to be constructed before approving a re-design and as such need, at minimum,
to have the drawings show the designed separation and crossing (identify the low pipe and its crown, identify the high pipe and its IE). I encourage you to pothole the existing water
and coordinate that activity with Brad.

Glen, see attached comments. When I brought this up at the pre-con it was because the storm line as approved is under the street trees which is neither an ideal placement and/or may
cause installation challenges. The flowline is best for the storm, however, at the time I wasn’t considering the other utilities and in closer review there is a water main that is too
close to the flowline. I added comments for an alternative that would be acceptable (note these blue comments offer a concept and do not capture all information that would be needed
