CITYOFRENTON,WASHINGTONRESOLUTIONNO.4445ARESOLUTIONOFTHECITYOFRENTON,WASHINGTON,CHANGINGTHETITLEOFTHEAUTHORIZEDINDIVIDUALDELEGATEDTOADMINISTERTHEINVESTMENTOFCITYOFRENTONMONIESINTHELOCALGOVERNMENTINVESTMENTPOOLFROMTHEADMINISTRATIVESERVICESADMINISTRATORTOTHEFINANCEADMINISTRATOR.WHEREAS,pursuanttoChapter294,Lawsof1986,theLegislaturecreatedatrustfundtobeknownasthepublicfundsinvestmentaccount(commonlyreferredtoastheLocalGovernmentInvestmentPool(“LGIP”))forthecontributionandwithdrawalofmoneybyanauthorizedgovernmentalentityforpurposesofinvestmentbytheOfficeoftheStateTreasurer;andWHEREAS,theCityCouncil,byResolutionNo.4217,passedonJune23,2014,authorizedthecontributionandwithdrawalofCitymoniesintheLGIPinthemannerprescribedbylaw,rule,andprospectus;andWHEREAS,theCityCouncil,byResolutionNo.4349,designatedtheAdministrativeServicesAdministrator,asthe“authorizedindividual”tocontributeorwithdrawCityofRentonfundsintheLGIP,andtoauthorizeallamendments,changes,oralterationstotheLocalGovernmentInvestmentPoolTransactionAuthorizationForm(“Form”)oranyotherdocumentationincludingthedesignationofotherindividualstomakecontributionsandwithdrawalsonbehalfoftheCity;andWHEREAS,onJuly19,2021,theCityCouncilpassedOrdinanceNo.6023whichreorganizedcertainCityDepartmentsincludingrenamingtheAdministrativeServicesDepartmentastheFinanceDepartment;and1 RESOLUTIONNO.4445WHEREAS,itisnecessarytopassaresolutionchangingthetitleoftheauthorizedindividualdelegatedtoadministertheinvestmentofCityofRentonmoniesintheLGIPfromtheAdministrativeServicesAdministratortotheFinanceAdministrator;NOW,THEREFORE,THECITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOFRENION,WASHINGTON,DORESOLVEASFOLLOWS:SECTIONI.TheCityCouncilherebychangesthetitleofthedesignated“authorizedindividual”tocontributeorwithdrawCityofRentonfundsintheLGIP,andtoauthorizeallamendments,changes,oralterationstotheFormoranyotherdocumentationincludingthedesignationofotherindividualstomakecontributionsandwithdrawalsonbehalfoftheCityfromtheAdministrativeServicesAdministratortoFinanceAdministrator.SECTIONII.TheCitywillcausetobefiledacertifiedcopyofthisresolutionwiththeOfficeoftheStateTreasureraswrittennoticeofthetitlechange.PASSEDBYTHECITYCOUNCILthis13thdayofSeptember,2021.Jas1(A.Seth/CityClerkAPPROVEDBYTHEMAYORthis13thdayofSeptember,2021.AdoPavone,Mayor2 RESOLUTIONNO.4445Approvedastoform:ShaneMoloney,CityAttorneyRES:1884:$/16/213
