Subject: Water Main on Shelton Ave in Wall 12 Grid

Requested Information:
Heading North on Shelton Ave NE the new water main ends behind Wall 12 at STA 51+84.14 with a thrust
block for future road extension. Prior to water main install roadway subgrade had to be established and
compaction complete. Excavation of the water will impact the 20’ standard wall grid.
-Please advise on how the grid should be replaced to not effect the design of the wall.
-Is the thrust block per COR STD 300.6 acceptable this close directly behind back of wall?
