Construction inspection is required for this permit. The applicant must contact the King County Land Use Inspection Section at 206-296-6600 to schedule a pre-construction meeting prior to starting any construction activities. This ROWUP shall be available for inspection at the construction site. 2. This permit is issued for construction and installation of: · Temporary construction entrance for access to project site, which is a subdivision within the City of Renton Jurisdiction · Install a storm-water conveyance system that discharges to a road-side swale · All work within right-of-way shall be performed in accordance with County standards. · The applicant is responsible for any damage or changed conditions to the existing roadway on 158th Avenue SE. In accordance with King County Road Standards Chapter 9, a haul route plan and agreement is required unless otherwise determined by King County. The applicant shall evaluate the roadway conditions and prepare the haul route plan for evaluation during the preconstruction process. · Please refer to the permit file for complete site plans and additional information. 3. All work shall comply with applicable requirements for King County right-of-way as outlined in KCC 14.28. 4. Dust Control: During hauling operations, permittee shall provide effective dust control measures consisting of water, asphalt treated base, chemical dust palliatives, or equivalent measures to control dust from this operation. 5. Sweeping: Permittee shall be responsible for implementing all appropriate measures needed (i.e. paving, sweepers, and/or other techniques) to keep streets and roads used as haul routes for export or import of material clean and free from debris, mud, etc. 6. Warning Signs: Haul truck warning signs shall be installed prior to any hauling from the site. Signs shall conform to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control (MUTC). Wheel Wash: If required by the King County DLS Inspector, Permittee shall provide a wheel wash facility and a paved access road between the wheel wash location and public road. 8. The construction phase of this permit is valid for 1 year from the date of issuance. Applicants may apply for a 1-year extension upon written request. 9. CALL BEFORE YOU DIG. Use ONE-CALL (811) to locate all existing utilities 72 hours prior to starting construction. 10. Applicants and contractors are responsible for providing adequate safeguards, safety devices, protective equipment, flaggers, and any other actions needed to protect the life, health and safety of the public and to private property in connection with the performance of work covered by this permit. Any work within the traveled County ROW that may interrupt normal traffic flows requires at least one flagger for each lane of the traffic affected. All sections of Washington State Dept. of Transportation (WSDOT) standards and specification 1-07.23, Traffic Control, shall apply. 11. The applicant is responsible for obtaining all required permits from State or Federal agencies prior to performance of construction involving streams or wetlands. Failure to comply with all applicable County regulations and all conditions for the ROWUP may result in Code Enforcement Action, including STOP WORK orders and Civil Penalties as authorized under KCC Title 23. In addition, you may be financially responsible for any work performed by King County on behalf of the public to repair, correct or restore any damage in the County Right-of-Way caused by your actions or construction activity.
