ALL PIPE BEDDING SHALL BE APWA CLASS "C," WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PVC PIPE. ALL TRENCH BACKFILL SHALL BE COMPACTED TO MINIMUM 95 PERCENT FOR PAVEMENT AND STRUCTURAL FILL AND 90 PERCENT OTHERWISE PER ASTM D-1557-70. PEA GRAVEL BEDDING SHALL BE 6 INCHES AND OVER AND UNDER PVC PIPE. 10.
