Revisions include: • Addition of a 6-inch ductile iron spool and supports. • Modified construction notes 1. Question: Concerning the removal of the existing coating at Devil’s Elbow LS, is there knowledge of what the existing coating is? Answer: The original plans for the wet well indicate a two part hybrid epoxy with an embedded nylong mesh equal to Sentry Polymers “Semstone 145-S” with scrim. However, we believe the contractor substituted Raven Liner. 2. Question: Is the intent of the project to recoat the wetwell with the product identified in 9.08.9(1)? If so, will bypassing be in service during recoating? Answer: No, the interior of the wetwell will not be recoated. The wall will be bare concrete. The temporary bypass is needed during the existing coating removal. The temporary pumping scenario is outlined in Division 11 of the technical specifications. 3. Question: What are the dimensions of the wetwell? Answer: The existing wetwell is 12 feet inside diameter and 17 feet inside height. The anticipated area of the coating removal is approximately 450 SF as shown on DWG No. G001. 4. Question: The paint spec calls for pipe to be coated. I see on the plans a little bit of pipe that is going to be replaced; are you wanting just the new pipe to be coated or all the existing pipe? Answer: The only existing piping that would be disturbed is at Devil’s Elbow. A section of pipe will need to be cut and reused. The cut ends will need to be touched up, but the remaining existing pipe will not be recoated. This Addendum consists of three (3) pages and has one (1) attachment.
