Upon inquiry by Councilman Perry, Finance Director Marshall explained the prior year omitted levy amount had been an Assessor' s Office error which was being rectified and would be included, that $3.60 per thou- sand of true value is limit the city can assess, plus approximate 7ct which had been omitted previously. Council President Stredicke noted for the record, for Chamber of Commerce and those who have been criti- cal of the growth of the city, $40,000,000 increase over last year due to increase in assessed valuation.
