HomeMy WebLinkAboutVantage Point LLA Project NarrativeVantage Point Lot Line Adjustment Project Narrative Applicant: King County Housing Authority Project Name: Vantage Point Lot Line Adjustment Location: 17901 105th Place SE, Renton, WA 98055 Purpose of Lot Line Adjustment: On April 22, 2014 the Hearing Examiner issued a final decision in response to King County Housing Authority’s application for site plan approval for the development of 77 units of senior housing (LUA-14-000226). This final decision includes the condition that King County Housing Authority survey the critical areas after construction and adjust the boundary between Lot 2 and Tract C-2 so that the critical area if fully contained within Tract C-2. Construction has been completed of the 77 units and a new survey delineating the critical area has been conducted. This application is to adjust the lot line between the two parcels to be consistent with this boundary. Current Use of Sites: King County Housing Authority built a 99,000 square foot building on Lot 2 that is being used as 77 senior apartment units. Tract C-2 has been preserved as a critical area. Special Site Features: Tract C-2 is a critical area due to steep slopes. Proposed Future Use of the Properties: There is no proposed change to the use of either property, so the existing uses will continue. Proposed Code Modifications: No code modifications are being requested.
