Project is proposed to be completed by winter 2016. Hours and days of operation: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday or as otherwise allowed by City of Renton. Proposed Hauling/ Transportation routes: Materials and labor to the site are proposed off of NE 4th Street using the two existing driveway approaches. Parking and material storage will occur on the NE 4th Street side of the project (north) in the vicinity of the existing house (6207 NE 4th Street). Proposed additional materials to the project will be hauled to the site using the access off of NE 4th Street. Haul routes to the site will be from the Maple Valley Highway (SR-169) up the hill on 156th Avenue SE and then west onto NE 4th Street. No construction activity is proposed from the existing residential street (NE 3rd Court) until paving and tie in to the existing street occurs. Measures to minimize construction activities: The construction activities proposed are to provide the necessary public and private improvements for the project. In an effort to minimize disruption of the public, construction activities will occur off of NE 4th Street, and not off the local residential streets. A new water main extension is proposed to connect to the existing water main in NE 4th Street. The existing water main in NE 4th Street is located on the southerly (project side) shoulder of the street. This proposed connection will be made in an effort to minimize traffic disruption on the east bound lanes of NE 4th Street. Utility and roadway connection is required on the easterly end of the existing roadway of NE 3rd Court. Minimal disruption will be necessary to make these connections to the existing utilities and roadway. Special hours: No special hours are necessary to complete construction. Weekend work may be necessary to complete the project on schedule; this will be determined by owner, contractor, and City of Renton. Preliminary Traffic Control Plan: Coordination with the City of Renton staff will be necessary to minimize disruption to traffic on NE 4th Street for a water main connection and curb, gutter, and sidewalk installation. Once a contractor is selected, a traffic control plan will be submitted and approved prior to the pre- construction meeting with the City of Renton. This plan will be implemented prior to any construction activities.
