Subject: Request for Reconsideration - LUA16-000861 (AT&T Stealth Tower)
Good morning,
On behalf of Applicant New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (“AT&T”), we request reconsideration of the City’s
conditional approval of LUA16-000861. This request is based on new information in the form of a revised
height and light pole design for the proposed wireless facility.
AT&T proposes a stealth light pole, to be no more than 50 feet in height and designed consistent
with the attached photographs of area park/parking lot light standards and such as shown in the
attached conceptual drawing. AT&T's design team is now working on a detailed elevation
drawing for your review on reconsideration.
After reconsidering this proposal, we ask that you revise conditions of approval 3 and 4, as follows:
3. The tallest point of the proposed tower shall not be greater than twenty five
(25) fifty (50) feet when measured from grade. Compliance with the height restriction
shall be verified with the building permit application and approved by the Current
Planning Project Manager prior to building permit issuance.
4. The design of the stealth tower shall more closely resemble a street light pole, as
shown in Exhibit [x] submitted by Applicant. The final design shall be reviewed for
consistency with Exhibit [x] and approved by the Current Planning Project Manager at
the time of building permit application.
Thank you for your consideration of this request. Please let us know if you need any other information in
order to issue a final decision.
