As requested by the client, ESNW rep was onsite at the Weatherly Inn development to observe and document slope conditions during wall excavation. While onsite the following was observed: Wall Excavation Slope Conditions: ESNW rep arrived onsite and observed that the contractor was continuing installation of rebar and concrete wall forms. ESNW rep observed contractor excavating footing wall backfill, and temporarily supporting adjacent utility lines. ESNW rep observed the 6-block high eco block wall within the excavation remained stable, and native soil conditions were suitable for temporary vertical cut slope. The
slopes of the excavation were observed to be stable and unchanging in their current temporary over steepened condition, however it is the responsibility of the contractor to perform all
necessary safety measures in accordance with state and federal regulations. It is recommended the contractor repair any damaged plastic sheeting as needed. Contractor should contact ESNW for further observations if any changes in slope condition occur. ESNW rep will return as requested by client
for further observations.
