4-6-050Association(APWA)standardswithrespecttominimumallowableinfiltrationandexfiltration.b.AdditionalZone2Requirements:ForpropertieslocatedinZone2ofanaquiferprotectionarea,additionalrequirementspertainingtosewersarespecifiedinthefollowingsectionsoftheRentonMunicipalCode:RMC4-3-050C1a,AquiferProtectionAreas—CompliancewithRegulations;RMC4-3-050H6b,PipelineRequirements—Zone2;RMC4-4-030C7,ConstructionActivityStandards—Zones1and2;andRMC4-3-050D2b,PotentialtoDegradeGroundwater.fOrd.4367,9-14-1992;Ord.4851,8-7-2000)4-6-050STREETPLANADOPTED:ThatcertainarterialsandstreetplanisherebyadoptedasapartofandinfurtherimplementationoftheCity’sComprehensivePlanforthephysicaldevelopmentoftheCityofRenton.(Ord.2199,12-20-1965)4-6-060STREETSTANDARDS:A.IUHPUb:ItisthepurposeofthisCodetoestablishdesignstandardsanddevelopmentrequirementsforstreetimprovementstoinsurereasonableandsafeaccesstodevelopedproperties.Theseimprovementsincludesidewalks,curbs,gutters,streetpaving,monumentation,signageandlighting.fOrd.4521,6-5-1995)B.ADMINISTERINGANDENFORCINGAUTHORITY:TheAdministratoroftheDepartmentofPlanning!Building!PublicWorksand!orhis!herdesignatedrepresentativesareresponsibleforthegeneraladministrationandcoordinationofthisCode.C.APPLICABILITY:WheneverapermitisappliedforundertheprovisionsoftheUniformBuildingCodefornewconstruction,orapplicationmadeforashortplatorafullsubdivisionwhichislocatedonapropertyadjacenttopublicright-of-way,thenthepersonapplyingforsuchbuildingpermitshallbuildandinstallcertainstreetimprovements,including,butnotlimitedto:lightingonalladjacentrights-of-way,andallprivatestreetimprovementsonaccesseasements.Theminimumdesignstandardsforstreetsarelistedinthefollowingtables.Thesestandardswillbeusedasguidelinesfordeterminingspecificstreetimprovementrequirementsfordevelopmentprojects,includingshortplatsandsubdivisions.D.EXEMPTIONS:ThefollowingexemptionsshallbemadetotherequirementslistedinthisSection:1.Newconstructionoradditionwithvaluationlessthanfiftythousanddollars($50,000.00).2.Interiorremodelsofanyvaluenotinvolvingabuildingaddition.3.Theconstructionofonesinglefamilyhouse,orthemodificationoradditiontoanexistinghouseifthepublicstreetadjacenttothelotunderconstructioniscurrentlyusedforvehicularaccessandimprovedwithpavement.lithestreetdoesnotmeetthecriteria,thenthestreetmustbeimprovedtomeetminimumFireDepartmentStandards.E.RIGHT-OF-WAYDEDICATIONREQUIRED:1.DedicationRequiredforDevelopment:Wheretheexistingwidthforanyright-of-wayadjacenttothedevelopmentsiteislessthantheminimumstandardslistedinsubsectionFofthisSection,additionalright-of-waydedicationwillberequiredfortheproposeddevelopment.2.AmountofDedication:Theright-of-waydedicationrequiredshallbehalfofthedifferencebetweentheexistingwidthandtheminimumrequiredwidthaslistedinsubsectionFofthisSection.Incaseswhereadditionalright-of-wayhasbeendedicatedontheoppositesideoftheright-of-wayfromthedevelopmentsiteincompliancewiththisSection,thendedicationoftheremainingright-of-waywidthtoobtaintheminimumwidthaslistedinsubsectionFofthisSectionshallberequired.3.WaiverofDedication:TheAdministratormaywaivetherequirementforadditionalright-of-waydedicationpursuanttoRMC4-9-250C,WaiverProcedures,whereitisde(Revised10/tX))6-16
