The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals. DATE OF NOTICE OF APPLICATION: September 3, 2015 PROJECT NAME/NUMBER: 323 Stevens Ave SW Driveway Variance / LUA15-000626, V-A PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Applicant is requesting an administrative Variance for the construction of a driveway with a 38 percent grade. The maximum driveway grade permissible is 15 percent. The project site is located within the Residential-8 (R-8) zone and totals 15,256 square feet in area. A new single family residence is currently under construction on the project site under permit number B14001466. Protected slopes (slopes with grades exceeding 40 percent) are located on the north central portion of the project site and a high landslide hazard area is mapped across the project site. Access to the site is proposed via a driveway off of Stevens Avenue SW.
