SUBJECT: "On Hold" Notice #5 and Reconsideration Response

Dear Mr. Gierlach,
The Planning Division of the City of Renton accepted the above master application for review on June 24, 2021.
On April 5th, 2022, the Environmental Review Committee (ERC) issued a Determination of Non-Significance –
Mitigated with five (5) mitigation measures. On Friday, April 15, 2022, Stephen Maduli-Williams, an authorized
representative of Amazon, requested a reconsideration of the SEPA decision in order to allow the applicant to
provide additional information to the Committee related to project phasing. According to Mr. Maduli-Williams,
the applicant intends to provide the additional information no later than May 13, 2022, after which time the ERC
will reconsider the previously issued SEPA determination.
In addition, Mr. Maduli-Williams requested review of the application be placed on hold until after the City issues
a response the SEPA determination reconsideration request. Therefore, the application has been placed on hold
pending review of the applicant’s additional info and subsequent response to the request by the ERC.
Please provide the additional information or direction to pro ceed with the Environmental Review Committee
meeting before July 18, 2022 so that we may continue the review of the above subject application:
