Subject:Planning Commission Information - Close Puppyland!
Please say "No" to Puppyland. Renton does not need to encourage the sale of dogs sourced from puppy
mills. I strongly oppose the sale of dogs (or cats) for-profit by mass retailers. Over and above that, Puppyland
and similar stores sell animals that are potentially unhealthy and often outrageously overpriced with no post-
sale recourse for buyers.
There are far too many dogs (including puppies) languishing in shelters, especially with many people who
adopted pets in 2020 now returning to work and their pre-COVID lives. Please add your voice to those of
Renton residents who want to see Puppyland CLOSED.
