Home My WebLink AboutCO 22 CAG-20-126, CO #22-22 Approved by Cheryl Beyer via 1/31/2022 email Change Order No. 22 Contract Title: Lake Washington Loop Trail Contract No. CAG -20-126 Page 2 of 3 THE CONTRACT IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS: Description of Change: Change to Contract Plans: As required in FWD No 25, the Contractor is directed perform additional landscape work along the north side of Airport Way between Sta 3+50 and St 11+00 to include the following: Remove weeds that have grown in disturbed grass areas, rototill 3-inches of fine compost into the native soils and add install sod per the soil preparation for sod detail on sheet L6.07 in the five areas disturbed due to the irrigation system connections at back of sidewalk and also in the five areas within the planter strip area at the new curb/gutter installations. The Contractor is directed to rake out the construction debris from the existing planter strip and install topsoil type A in depressed areas to make a smooth grade and furnish and install seeding, fertilizing and mulching over the entire planter strip area except newly sodded areas. Reason for Change: Contract Plans: The City would like to improve the lawn areas along the project limits. Materials: Seeding, Fertilizing and Mulching per WSDOT Standard Specifications 8-02. Plans: Plan Sheets L6-02 rev 1, L6-03 Rev 1, L6-04 Rev 2 and L6-04 Rev 2. Estimated Change Order Cost: This Change Order does include an equitable adjustment per Section 1-09.4 of the 2020 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications. Payment will be measured and paid under the respective unit prices for the bid items of Fine Compost, Topsoil Type A and Sod Installation. The existing Proposal quantities are sufficient for this added work. In addition the extra work to perform the seeding, fertilizing and mulching will be paid under a lump sum item for the fixed price of $2,803.57. See attached. Extension of Time: The Time for Completion is extended 0 Working Days. Price was negotiated with ACI and agreed upon. Protect exposed areas along project limits to prevent erosion. Change Order No. 22 Contract Title: Lake Washington Loop Trail Contract No. CAG -20-126 Page 3 of 3 Sections 1-04.4 and 1-04.5 of the 2020 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications shall govern this Change Order. The Work of the referenced Contract is modified to include the changes detailed herein. The payment provided for herein shall constitute the complete and final settlement for all costs of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, profit, permit fees, and all other claims that may be made by the Contractor as a result of this change.
