Attending: Laura Clawson, Daryl Delaurenti, Maryann DiPasquale, Amy Elizabeth Gorton,
Jessica Kelly, Rhea Kimble, Lynne King, Colleen Lenahansen, Staci VanderPol, and Elizabeth
Stewart.
Call to Order Information
President Jessica Kelly called the Zoom meeting to order at 5:45 PM.
News, Updates, Correspondence Information
Museum Director Liz Stewart reported on museum operations. She provided a COVID update
regarding the City’s instructions. She also presented an upcoming exhibit: With this Ring.
Review and approval of minutes Action Item
Minutes for the January meeting were approved with changes.
Work session Action Items
(1) Committee Reports (Vice President): see report
(2) New Committee (President): Jessica informed the Board about the need for a new
Ad Hoc Bylaws Committee. Staci VanderPol, Jessica Kelly, and Daryl Delaurenti
volunteered.
(3) SalsaLabs Update (Vice President): Colleen Lenahansen and staff participated in a
SalsaLabs training and updated the Board that the new system is working well so far.
(4) Annual Signing of Board Policies (Liz Stewart): Jessica requested any members who
have not signed yet to get that done and to Liz before our next Board Meeting.
(5) Year End Financial Report (Treasurer): Daryl presented a high-level summary of the
financial report, providing that compared to budget, the museum did well.
Mission Moment & Nonprofit Moment Information
Liz presented to the Board the Mission Moment in which she discussed working with
students. Liz highlighted one student’s exhibit, A Plate At the Potluck, that the museum will
be printing and displaying at Lakeshore Retirement.
Jessica presented to the Board an overview of the primary legal duties for the Board of
Directors, sourced from the Council on Nonprofits.
