The existing building has a height of approximately 130 feet an. is currently occupied by office space. The proposed facility would consist of three sectors with three a tennas per sector. Each antenna would be 5 feet, 5-inches in height and 8.7- inches in width. One sector would be placed on the west side of the rooftop and two sectors would be placed on the northeast corner. Associated radio equipment cabinets are proposed to the located on the seventh floor of the building. The subject site is located in the Center Downtown (CD)zoning designation. The facility,which is consi.ered a"micro-facility"as defined by the City's Development Regulations, is a permitted use in the CD zone. The proposal calls for a maximum of nine(9) panel antennas to be mounted on the rooftop. The antennas are 5'5"tall by 8.7" wide and will be configured in three sectors with three antennas per sector. One sector will be placed on the west side of the roofotp and two sectors in the northeast corner(one facing north and one facing east). The antennas will extend approximately 11'6"above the existing parapet line. Six radio equipment cabinets will be placed in a storage room on the 7th floor of the building. The proposed facility does not interfere with existing bodies of water and will have no adverse impacts on the surrounding environment. The facility is unmanned and will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The site will not be accessible to the public. Current use of site: Office building Adjacent water area: Cedar River Nature of existing shoreline: River Residential units in trea: None. The site is zoned CD and surrounding zoning is commercial. Views will not be obstructed.
