Permit No. Client/Owner Attn Requested By B22000533 Mark Seek (Tiger Mountain Homes) Mark Seek Contractor Engineer/Architect General Contractor Earthwork Contractor Weather HiLine Homes Tiger Mountain Homes / Mark Tiger Mountain PC, 50’s THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED: Lot 2 Building Foundation Excavation and Lot 4 Backfill: AESI arrived on site in the morning at the request of the Mark Seek. Prior to our arrival, the contractor had begun excavating for Lot 2 building foundation subgrade (Photograph 1, Figure 1). The contractor had excavated approximately 5’ to 6’ deep from existing grade for the lot with a small amount of the lot remaining to excavate while we were on-site. AESI observed and assessed the prepared subgrade with a ½” diameter steel soil probe. Exposed materials consisted of silty sands. In our opinion, this area was firm and unyielding and suitable for support of structural fill for future hardscape and landscape. In the adacent area, we observed the contractor backfilling Lot 4 from our previous site visit on 5/20/22 (FR 039). Backfill for the 5’ to 6’ excavation consisted of 2” to 4” recycled concrete spalls and 2” minus recycled concrete compacted using a jumping jack in 1’ lifts. We probed the recycled concrete with a ½” diameter steel probe and found it to be firm and unyielding as well. AESI departed the site in the AM and will return upon request.
