Do not click links or open attachments unless you can confirm the sender and know the content is safe. Hi Stephen, I have confirmed that you may request a reconsideration of the SEPA decision issued for the Amazon SWA2 project. See below for the reconsideration language found in RMC 4-8-100.I. CAUTION: This email originated from outside the City of Renton. Do not click links, reply or open attachments unless you know the content is safe. The reconsideration request can be submitted to me via email and must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, April 19th (i.e. two weeks after the SEPA determination was issued). There is no fee required for a reconsideration request. Since I’m assuming that you will not have the documentation and data regarding the phasing approach before you make you submit the reconsideration, please include a rough timeline indicating when you anticipate obtaining the analysis/recommendation from your traffic consultant. In addition, please include a request to place review of the project on-hold as the reconsideration process plays out. Once the committee reviews the reconsideration request, they will either uphold the original determination and mitigation measures, or issue a new determination with altered/new mitigation measures. Upon issuance of the new determination (or upholding the current determination), Amazon will have a new two-week period to appeal. If you have any questions on the process, please let me know. I’d also be happy to give you a call tomorrow if it’d be easier to discuss that way.
