FORTERRA NW TO FUND AND PROVIDE KNOTWEED CONTROL
ALONG THE CITY RIVER FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PROPERTY
LOCATED IN RENTON
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as __________, is by and between the
City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and FORTERRA NW
(“FORTERRA”). The City and the FORTERRA are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the
“Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date
signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City granted a license/permission to FORTERRA to fund and treat invasive
knotweed and enhance riparian function on the lower Cedar River within Renton city limits
under Agreement, to (referred to herein as the “LICENSE/PERMIT”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend the term of the LICENSE/PERMIT
in order to complete the work .
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-20-325 is amended as follows:
1.Section 1. B Term – Duration of LICENSE/PERMISSION, is amended to read:

August 3, 2020 to December 21, 2022
2.All terms of the LICENSE/PERMISSIONnot explicitly modified herein shall remain in full
force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this
Amendment as if fully set forth herein.
