THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
Associated Earth Sciences Inc. (AESI) was on site for part-time geotechnical observation. Upon arrival, we met with representatives
from Cornerstone and Continental Dirt Contractors (CDC).
Area D Footing Backfill
While on-site, we observed CDC backfilling 1’ to 2’ deep footing edges in Area D using native till soils. The soil was brought by loader,
spread, and compacted in 1’ lifts using a track mounted hoepac. We probed the footing edges with a ½” diameter steel probe to 2”
and took density tests on the native till soil.
