RENTON HEARING EXAMINER
RENTON, WASHINGTON
A virtual/telephonic public hearing will be held by the Renton Hearing Examiner on July 26, 2022 at 12:00 PM by means
of the Zoom video conferencing web application to consider the following petition:
Interim Maintenance Facility Improvements at Farwest
LUA22-000185, ECF, SA-H, CUP-H
Location: 201 SW 34th St (APN 1253800211). The applicant, King County Solid Waste Division (KCSWD), is requesting
Hearing Examiner Conditional Use Permit, Site Plan Review, and Environmental Review for a vehicle maintenance and a
storage facility at the former Farwest Steel Fabrication Facility. KCSWD is proposing to temporarily relocate from their
vehicle maintenance and stores operations located at the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill facility to the Farwest Facility for
approx. 5 years as they redevelop the Cedar Hills location.
